After years of pondering what would it be like to only eat RAW food I decided to take the challenge… I did not do this for the trendy diet/cleansing aspect but for the culinary challenge. After a little convincing and flattery I somehow managed to get a co-pilot for this experiment! (ahh, the art of flattery…)

The treck back to Dallas was a blast.. deciding not to take the major highway filled with chain fast food stops and tourist traps-- the tour ran us through rural Texas- by far a better decision!

Off for a weekend getaway we decided to embark on the Texas Hill Country.. I was hoping for a plane ride, but time did not permit..We had a great trip.. covering Fredricksburg and taking back country roads the whole way back to Big D...
